Dr. Kalyani Selvarajah

Dr. Kalyani Selvarajah is a Professor in the School of Computer Science, where she leads research on Social Network Analysis , Knowledge Graphs and applied Artificial Intelligence. Her group studies how structure and dynamics in large networks can be modelled, predicted and used responsibly. Her recent work focuses on:
- Link prediction, Team Formation and network evolution in temporal and heterogeneous graphs
- Graph neural networks and representation learning for networked data
- Applications of network science in healthcare, mobility and public policy
She supervises graduate and undergraduate researchers, collaborates closely with industry partners, and regularly organizes workshops and outreach events that connect academic research with practice.
